Safe re-opening during Covid 19

We hope that you and your family are well and that the worst of the Covid 19 pandemic is behind us.
With this in mind, we are happy to announce the re-opening of our fitting service while adhering to the HSE Covid 19 guidelines. Please phone 021 6032000 for an appointment.

All appointments will be spaced out in order for cleaning to take place between each client visit.

On arrival, the client must wait in their car outside and phone the office. If the client does not arrive by car, she must remain outside the front door until the nurse has asked the wellness questions and taken her temperature. The nurse (wearing a face mask) will come to get them. The client must wear a face mask. If they don’t have their own, we can provide one including a fabric mask. While the client remains in the car, the nurse then asks the client:

Any flu like symptoms?

Any breathing difficulties or shortness of breath?

Any change or loss of sense of taste or smell?

Any contact with a confirmed or suspected case of Covid 19 in the past 14 days.

The nurse will then check the client’s temperature and log it in the diary beside their appointment.

If the client answers yes to any of the above questions or if their temperature is above 37.5 they are prohibited from entering and advised to seek medical help.

On entering Bellisima, the client is directed to sanitise their hands with alcohol gel.

The nurse then shows the client into the fitting room.
When the fitting is completed the client is directed to sanitise their hands, the nurse opens the front door and sees the client out.

    Hi my name is andrea Radford I had a mastectomy in January, i was approved for my medical card I’m just wondering if I am entitled to mastectomy bras, I’m not sure what I’m entitled to as I’m new to this can you please contact me thank you

Yes, you are covered by your medical card for bras every 12 months and a breast prosthesis every 2 years. If you would like to come to us for a fitting, please give us a call to schedule on 021 6032000. If you know the size and style of bras that you need, please give us a call and we can post the items to you.

    Hi there,

    My mother in law has just had a lumpectomy and lymph node removal and is having trouble finding a bra with side straps that don’t touch the scar under her arm. This is more complicated as she is a large size – 42 H.
    Any suggestions that you have would be really appreciated.

      I am so sorry that we didn’t pick up on your message sent in May to our website. We were closed for a number of months during the lock down but are back up and running again.
      With regards to a comfortable bra for your mother in law, I’m confident we would have a bra to suit her and yes we have bras that go to 42H.
